Samsung have pushed a security update for their latest foldable, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3, in multiple countries.

The February 2022 patch fixes over 60 privacy and security related flaws. The rollout is being pushed gradually, where owners should expect an update notification within the following days.

We recommended all users to perform the update as soon as it is available to them, to protect themselves from exposed vulnerabilities.

UK and European users will receive an update with firmware version F711BXXU2BVA9.

If you haven’t received a notification yet, you can force the update by opening Settings and tapping Software Update.

The latest patch arrives following Samsung’s recent announcement that it will be extending the software support lifespan for their flagship Android phones.
