Samsung’s latest One UI 4.0 update for the Galaxy A52s is causing a plethora of issues for customers, according to the latest posts in the Samsung community forum.

The Galaxy A52s has been a very popular phone for those who want great battery life and good performance, without paying flagship prices. However, the new Android 12 update appears to be doing the complete opposite.

Those who have installed the update are reporting significant performance drops across apps and when navigating the OS. Furthermore, there are numerous reports of low battery life and overheating issues, despite the large 4500mAh battery.

There are also reports of reduced camera quality, as well as network connectivity issues that require a complete restart to fix.

2 weeks ago, we reported Samsung are planning to bring Galaxy S22 features from One UI 4.1 to their other phones, including the Galaxy A52s. However, if Samsung can’t even deliver a small update without issues, a much larger update doesn’t appear too promising.

In the meantime, we suggest users postpone the latest update until Samsung issues a new fix.

The news follows recent reports of performance issues with the newly released Samsung Galaxy A53.
