Display
The Honor Magic 4 Lite 5G has a large 6.81 inch IPS LCD display, with a superfast 120Hz refresh rate for smooth performance and speedy scrolling.
With 2388 x1080 pixels, the panel has a full HD 1080p resolution for pixel perfect detail and vibrant colours.
The impressive display is able to produce over 16.7 million colours, for accurate colour reproduction and temperatures.
Performance
In terms of performance, the Honor Magic 4 Lite 5G ships with Qualcomm’s latest 5G chip for mid to high range phones, featuring the Snapdragon 695.
Coupled with Honor’s AI software, the Magic 4 Lite 5G delivers excellent performance, rivalling that of flagship phones that cost up to twice as much.
Alongside the octa-core processor, there’s 6GB RAM for plenty of multitasking performance and intensive gaming.
Camera
Featuring a triple 48 MP camera with 8x digital zoom, the Honor Magic 4 Lite 5G packs above its weight in terms of camera performance.
The excellent shooter with Honor’s algorithms takes great pictures, with 1080p 30fps video recording and AI tracking for great depth of field.
On the front, there’s a 16 MP selfie camera that is placed in a small round cutout at the top centre of the display.
Operating System
As with all Honor phones, the Magic 4 Lite 5G features a customised version of Android called Magic UI. The phone ships with Magic UI 4.2, which is based on Android 11.
The Honor Magic 4 Lite 5G will get at least 2 years of major updates.
Design
Compared to the more expensive Magic 4 Pro, there Magic 4 Lite 5G has a very similar design, featuring a premium metallic design with an ultra smooth finish.
The rear features Honor’s iconic circle camera array design. On the front, there’s all display with near invisible bezels.
Battery life
Featuring a large 4800 mAh, Honor claims the Magic 4 Lite 5G can deliver more than a day of battery life. Furthermore, with 66W fast charging technology, the Magic 4 Lite 5G can be charged from 1% to 81% in just 30 minutes.
Unlike the Pro model, the Magic 4 Lite 5G does not feature wireless charging. However, there is a 66W SuperCharge USB-C charger in the box, meaning you won’t need to purchase a separate accessory to benefit from fast charging speeds.
