The Samsung Galaxy S23 is a well refined upgrade to the S22, introducing improved cameras, a faster Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and brighter display.

By moving away from their own chips and transitioning to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the Galaxy S23 is up to twice as fast as its predecessor - which was no slouch by any means.

The battery has also been bumped from 3700 mAh to 3900 mAh, with Samsung promising at least 22 hours of video playback.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 is available today with a zero upfront cost on contract.

Virgin Media

Virgin Media offer 24 and 36 month contracts for the S23 with £0, £28 and £42 upfront cost options.

As with most Virgin Media phone contracts, the agreement is split into two separate terms - one for the Galaxy S23, and another for the tariff (SIM card).

Monthly plans start from just £36 per month with a 36 month contract, and £50 for a 24 month contract.

Data ranges from 2GB to unlimited data, with all contracts offering unlimited minutes and texts.

Although Virgin Media and O2 have merged, both networks have different plans with varying costs for Galaxy S23 contracts.

Virgin Media customers who are looking to upgrade can likely get a better deal by contacting Virgin Media directly.

Vodafone

You can get a Samsung Galaxy S23 contract with Vodafone and save up to £504 by trading in your old device.

Furthermore, if you order by 23 February 2023, you can save a further £144, or £6 per month on your Airtime plan.

Vodafone allow you to customise your S23 contract, ranging from 3 to 36 months, and an upfront cost starting at £29 to a maximum of £749.

You’ll also get battery health checks and replacements included with your Galaxy S23 contract, for up to 3 years.

In addition, Vodafone promise to give you a guaranteed trade in price for your Galaxy S23 next year, as long as it’s in good condition.

Although Vodafone aren’t the cheapest network for the Galaxy S23, they provide additional extras and trade-in offers that you won’t get with most other networks.

Three

Three are currently offering up to £360 when you trade in your old phone for the Galaxy S23, and up to £600 if you are trading in a Galaxy S21 Ultra.

In addition, you can also get the 256GB model for the price of the 128GB if you pre-order a Galaxy S23 contract with Three.

Three are also offering 6 months of free airtime, for contracts at £33 per month for the first 6 months, then £60 per month onwards.

Three offer 12, 24 and 36 month contracts, with upfront cost ranging from £30 to £430 with the base model Galaxy S23.

You’ll also get 6 months free of Disney+, courtesy of Samsung.

If you’re upgrading, Three recommended logging into your Three account or calling them directly, to get an even more competitive deal that you won’t find online.

EE

Similar to Vodafone, EE are offering up to £366 trade-in value with certain Samsung phones, regardless of the condition.

In addition, if you pre-order the Galaxy S23 with EE, you can get the 256GB model for the price of the 128GB model.

EE are also including Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for free (usually worth £10.99 per month) with all Smart Benefits plans.

If you pre-order an EE Galaxy S23 contract, you’ll also get free Disney+ for 6 months.

EE are offering S23 contracts for 24 months in length, all of which include unlimited minutes and texts.

Upfront cost options include £30, £50 and £100, with data ranging from 5GB to unlimited.

With the lowest £30 upfront cost, monthly prices start from just £63 per month.

Tesco Mobile

Tesco Mobile are currently offering free Disney+ for 6 months with most Samsung phones, including the Galaxy S23.

In addition, if you pre-order an S23 with Tesco Mobile, you can get the 128GB model for the price of the 256GB model.

If you have an old phone, you can trade in for up to £150 off, as long as you are pre-ordering the Galaxy S23.

With Tesco Mobile, you can customise your Galaxy S23 contract to your liking, from zero upfront cost, data ranging from 3GB to unlimited, and contract lengths including 12, 18, 24, 30 and 36 months.

Sky Mobile

Sky Mobile are currently offering the 256GB model for the price of the 128GB model, as long as you pre-order the Galaxy S23.

Furthermore, pre-ordering an S23 contract with Sky Mobile will include double data for 24 months, at no additional cost.

Existing Sky Mobile customers can swap their old phone to get £100 credit applied to their account, which will be used towards future bills for your Galaxy S23 contract.

Currently, you can get a 12 month (Swap24) plan with Sky Mobile, from £61 per month with £99 upfront cost, including 6GB data.

There’s also a 24 month (Swap36) plan, at £38 per month with zero upfront cost, including 6GB data.

O2

Like most networks, O2 is also offering double storage at no extra cost, for the 256GB model at the same price as the 128GB model.

If you order before 22 March 2023, you’ll get 3 months on your airtime plan for free, from £24.14 per month for the first three months, and then £55.13 onwards with a Galaxy S23 contract.

With O2 Enhanced Recycle, you can get a guaranteed £100 trade-in value for your old device, when you pre-order a Galaxy S23 contract.

You’ll also get free EU roaming and O2 Priority access.

As well as pre-built plans, O2 also offer O2 custom plans, which allows you to set the upfront cost, contract length and data allowance.

You can also get an O2 Switch Up plan, which will allow you to swap your phone whenever you like during your contract.
