You can use your SMARTY allowance for free within 34 EU and European destinations.
The maximum amount of data you can use from your allowance when roaming within the EU is 12GB per month. This fair usage policy applies to all plans with a data allowance greater than 12GB. You can get more data by purchasing a data add-on.
For all other countries, you will be charged at an out of plan rate, which varies country by country. You must top up your account with credit in order to be charged for out of plan rates.

SMARTY EU roaming - after Brexit
You can use your SMARTY allowance for free within 34 EU and European destinations.
In accordance with the fair usage policy, the most data you can use from your allowance when roaming within the EU is 12GB per month.
You can use unlimited minutes and texts to the UK and between the 34 EU and European destinations.
If you need more data because you have approached your data allowance, or you have reached the 12GB fair usage policy, you must purchase a data add-on. Alternatively, you can wait until the start of your next billing cycle for your allowances to reset.

SMARTY roaming fair usage policy
SMARTY has a 12GB data fair usage policy when roaming for free within the EU and other qualifying European destinations.
This fair usage policy applies to all plans that have a data allowance greater than 12GB.
If you exceed the 12GB limit, you must purchase additional data add-ons, or wait until your allowances reset at the start of the next month.
In addition to the data limit, you cannot spend more than 60 days abroad while using SMARTY. If you exceed 60 days, SMARTY may suspend your SIM card until your roaming usage drops or you can prove you are a permanent UK resident
Can I roam outside the EU with SMARTY?
You can roam in most countries around the world with SMARTY.
If you’re within an EU or selected European destination, you can use your SMARTY allowance as normal.
For all other countries, you cannot use your regular allowance. Instead, you will be charged at separate roaming rates. In order to be charged and continue using SMARTY, you must have credit in your account.
You can top up your account by purchasing a SMARTY out of plan add-on, in increments of £5 up to £15.
Credits never expire. Any unused credit can be converted and used towards your next regular monthly bill.
SMARTY roaming country bands
If you’re visiting a country outside the EU, you will be charged at separate rates when roaming.
Countries are grouped into bands, which determine the rate you will pay to use SMARTY services.
You must have topped up credit in your account in order to be charged. You can top up your account by purchasing a SMARTY out of plan add-on, in increments of £5 up to £15.
