EE roaming - International & EU roaming with EE explained

You can roam in most countries with EE.
From March 2022, you may have to pay to roam and use your allowance in the EU, depending on the type of plan you have.
If you are eligible for a free EE Smart Benefit, you can select the Roam Abroad Pass to continue free EU roaming.
For all other plans, you will have to pay to £2 per day or £10 per month.
What's the best EE SIM Only plan for roaming?
For free EU roaming, make sure you choose an EE SIM Only plan which includes a free Smart Benefit. Once you receive your SIM, you must then select the Roaming Abroad Pass, which will allow you to use your regular allowance in 47 European destinations and 5 international destinations at no additional cost.
You can find the cheapest EE SIM Only deals by using our comparison tools. EE SIMs will work with all phones, including the latest Samsung Galaxy S23 and Apple iPhone 14.
EE EU roaming - after Brexit

Starting from March 2022, you may have to pay to use your regular allowance within the EU.
If you have a Smart Benefits plan, you can choose one add-on per month at no additional cost. You can choose the Roam Abroad add-on, which allows you to use your allowance within the EU for free - just like pre-Brexit rules.
For all other plans, you will need to pay to use your allowance within the EU. You will also need to pay if you have a Smart Benefits plan, but instead choose a free add-on that is not the Roam Abroad pass.
If your contract started before 7 July 2021, you will be entitled to free EU roaming until you change, upgrade or renew your contract, after which the new rules will apply.
